The European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet) is a network of European organisations working together to observe the oceans, to make the collected marine data freely available and interoperable, to create seamless data layers across sea-basins and to distribute the data and data products through the Internet. The primary aim of EMODnet is to unlock existing but fragmented and hidden marine data and make them accessible for a wide range of users including private bodies, public authorities and researchers.

Hilary is a Graphic Designer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Animation and Digital Arts from the Centre de la Imatge i la Tecnologia Multimèdia (Image Processing and Multimedia Technology Center) adjacent to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) as well vocational training in Visual Arts and Mural Arts in Massana’s Art school located in Barcelona, Spain.
Her experience in both traditional and digital mediums can be shown in her work in different projects, such as a StartUp for a visual horror novel for a recent American independent studio named DEADline Studios as the Graphic User Interface Design and the production of promotional artwork.
Regarding communications, Hilary completed an internship for AFS Intercultural Programs Flanders and Netherlands focusing on Social Media and Events where she contributed to the rebranding of new templates for brochures, flyers, video templates and social media graphics.
For Seascape Belgium, she will be supporting the communication team with the production of graphic content for both digital and print use and editing videos. Additionally, she will keep the websites of various projects' up to date where Seascape is leading website production and maintenance.
