The European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet) is a network of European organisations working together to observe the oceans, to make the collected marine data freely available and interoperable, to create seamless data layers across sea-basins and to distribute the data and data products through the Internet. The primary aim of EMODnet is to unlock existing but fragmented and hidden marine data and make them accessible for a wide range of users including private bodies, public authorities and researchers.

Through international R&I collaboration, the Horizon Europe project AQUAPHOENIX (Innovative solutions to reduce AQUAculture emissions and valorise sludge through PHOsphorus and NItrogen eXtraction) (January 2025 - December 2028) aims to develop and demonstrate an innovative solution that successfully captures waste to limit nitrogen (N) + phosphorus (P) emissions from the Aquaculture sector and valorise that waste into new and sustainable energy, agriculture, and aquaculture products.
As a project partner, Seascape Belgium will lead a number of tasks in WP6 ‘Maximising impact: communications, dissemination and exploitation’, producing a communication and dissemination plan including a stakeholder mapping exercise and establishing branding guidelines.
